Completion date: Estimate late 2009

Project Description:
Synergie Scotland Ltd has played a leading role in the inception and subsequent development of the European Marine Energy Centre in Orkney. Synergie staff have undertaken key project management roles relating to the installation of trials infrastructure and equipment while ensuring compliance with marine navigational requirements and without impacting on day-to-day marine operations and sea trials. The installation of sub-marine cables in littoral waters with significant wave and tidal stream energy was a significant technological challenge, which required the development of new and novel engineering solutions to achieve success. In addition Synergie managed the production of the Operational Health & Safety Management System in 2004 which remains in operation.
