Project Description:
Various renewable energy technology options were compared against the established energy profile and assessed in terms of their capital cost, operating cost and CO2 emissions. Options that combined more than one technology where assessed to find the optimal mix in terms of cost and environmental impact. The report looked at lifecycle costs, opportunities for funding and concluded with a site specific solution that will inform the future development of the business park to ensure it meets the client’s aspirations, legislation and local energy directives for 2020. The model also allowed for future changes in fuel prices, interest rates and inflation.
