Synergie acquire controlling interest in Mirspot

Robert Gordon University spin out company Mirspot Ltd, founded in 2007 by Dr Alan Owen, Head of Sustainable Energy within the Centre for Research in Energy and the Environment (CRE+E) at Robert Gordon University in Aberdeen, has appointed two news Directors to its board. David Russell and Uisdean Fraser, both Directors of Inverness based Synergie Scotland, join the company to drive forward the commercialisation and development of the company’s service. With this appointment Synergie Scotland has acquired the controlling interest in Mirspot.

Eigg is to become Scotland's first green power island

Islanders have won a £20,000 grant after making it to the final of Nesta's UK-wide Big Green Challenge. The funding will be used to help residents reduce carbon emissions to zero and launch a website called Build Your Own Green Island. Synergie was called in to design the project and complete enabling works prior to build beginning.
