All Energy 2008
A great success!
Synergie Scotland attended the eighth All-Energy Exhibition held at the AECC, Aberdeen, on 21 and 22 May 2008. The company saw a significant increase of over 70% of visitors to their stand from last year, where they provided delegates with a live demonstration of the new Synergie Utility Management Software (SUMS). The software monitors customers live energy information and presents it to them via a web link accessible from any point in the world and is the key component of Complete Energy Resource Management, which is a brand new service offered by Synergie Scotland Ltd.
This process works by combining Energy Performance Certification (EPC) for buildings, live energy usage data from energy sub-metering systems, which are designed and installed in-house by Synergie, and building usage patterns. The information gathered is used to develop a comprehensive model of the client’s energy use. This enables a critical review to be undertaken of companies’ operations and identifies areas of excessive or wasteful energy usage and subsequently leads to the implementation of a package of specific measures to reduce energy demand, leading to lower carbon emissions and significantly reduced running costs.
The exhibition combined a major renewable energy exhibition and a conference covering all renewable sources and the challenges and opportunities facing the industry.
